Review of Various Fingerprint Orientation and Classification Techniques

Fingerprint recognition is a commonly used biometric feature. This feature is used to authenticate a person’s identity. Orientation field estimation techniques are used to measure the orientation of a fingerprint. Reference point detection is used to deal with the issues of rotation and displacement.
